The purpose of this role is to assist the Head of ALCM, to lead all aspects of coverage on capital management including capital planning, dividend payment, AT1 and T2 issuance, balance sheet optimisation, management of the ICAAP process and Recovery planning. The role holder will be the ALCM lead on Enterprise Wide Stress Testing and be responsible for the delivery of the funding and capital plans, including stress test impact analysis.
Interactive engagement with group / regional ALCM, local businesses, functions and stakeholders with a clear understanding of group strategy and risk appetite.
Independent decision making, guidance and driving the implementation of appropriate actions and important initiatives in managing the ALCM risks, with oversight by the Head of ALCM and Country CFO on significant matters.
Provide SME input to industry workshops / forums on APRA policy consultations including Basel III reform.
Implement policy changes from local and group regulators.
Management of reporting requirements on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis.
Support various activities to achieve the goals and objectives of the Country CFO and Regional ALCM in line with HSBC strategy.
