The Road Ahead is RACQ’s member communication magazine. The bi-monthly magazine is received by RACQ members directly to their letterbox. With close to 900,000 copies delivered it is Queensland’s largest circulating magazine. In addition, almost 600,000 readers received either a digital copy of the magazine or one of eight member digital newsletters. The Road Ahead is expanding our media advertising sales team to sell advertising in both the printed and the online versions of The Road Ahead magazine and digital newsletters. We are seeking a highly motivated, knowledgeable and experienced salespersons to represent RACQ to sell our suite of print and digital advertising products.

The Role.

RACQ is seeking talented, creative and self-motivated, Sales Representative professionals to represent RACQ and increase The Road Ahead advertising sales.

  • We are seeking Sales Representatives across numerous states including QLD, NSW, VIC, WA and SA
  • 1-year service agreements offered with possibility for extension
  • Commission only role, you must operate with your own ABN.
  • 10% commission on all sales generated.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Building strong client relationships in your state,
  • Generating and deliver revenue from existing and new clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capture those opportunities.
  • Develop and work a sales pipeline
  • Develop and deliver tailored proposals approved by RACQ based on client needs.
  • Produce accurate bi-monthly and annual sales forecasts based on account/market potential

About you.

  • Excellent written, communication and negotiating skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong closing sales ability with a good outcome.
  • Proven track record in print and digital advertising sales.
  • Highly motivated to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong and proven work ethic.
  • Able to create novel solutions and troubleshoot problems.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate an outstanding sales track record in advertising sales or other industry sales while generating new business growth.
