  • The location for this role is temporarily considered “remote” due to the current requirements for Australians to practise social distancing amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Typically this role could be based in Williamstown, VIC or Henderson, WA.

About the Opportunity
In this newly created role you will be a part of the Maritime Sustainment line of business and play a critical role within our ANZAC program.
In more specific terms you will:

  • Develop and agree the rolling 3-month tender look ahead with the customer and communicate the rolling baseline to key internal stakeholders
  • Be responsible for the overall quoting process within the program, ensuring all relevant internal stakeholders are driving their respective inputs and outputs into the process
  • Communicate resourcing requirements to functional leads and the Operational Excellence team
  • Be accountable for the bid process, including Adjustment Events, across the ANZAC Program and ensuring bids progress through the stages/gates efficiently
  • Work closely with the relevant Project Managers, ensure the pricing and approvals are in accordance with our Lifecycle Management (LCM) process
  • Create and evolve metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the quoting process

About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:

  • Demonstrated ability to guide, challenge when necessary and influence key stakeholders at various levels, internally and externally
  • Knowledge and understanding of PM fundamentals
  • Commercially aware and can business partner
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tenders/bids effectively in a timely manner
  • Baseline defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
