About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Manager to join the Select Plant Hire Team, in our Laverton Depot.
You will be responsible for the Depot P&L’s, staff, infrastructure and assets as well the servicing of all customer needs in the area. The role encompasses the continuous upgrading of the fleet to meet customer demands and grow the business as well as the ongoing development of the associated maintenance procedures in order to maximise asset availability.
You will be self-motivated and have a ‘can do’ attitude with prior experience in a similar role, preferably within a construction and engineering business. You will also have the ability to demonstrate adequate time management skills and be able to work under pressure in a high volume working environment. Demonstrated history in depot stock control management is highly desirable.
