About the Project
Larrakeyah Barracks is a strategically important Defence base servicing the Royal Australian Navy, Army and Joint Task Force units in the Darwin Area. Laing O’Rourke is delivering both the Larrakeyah Barracks Redevelopment and Facilities Support to Naval Operations in the North projects as the managing contractor.
About the role
We are currently seeking a Senior Services Manager to join us on this exciting Building project in Darwin, NT. This permanent role offers great career prospects with a privately owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise. Note that this is a residential role therefor fly in, fly out will not be offered. Support with interstate relocation is available.
As a Buidling Services Manager, you will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of the project from tender submission, design phase, procurement of supply chain partners, construction and commissioning to final completion.
The role will encompass the management of the services components of Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics, Fire and Vertical Transportation.
You will be required to manage design, liaise with local authorities, create trade package scope of works, provide input into the construction delivery and also be responsible for commissioning management and execution.
A relevant trade qualification or Engineering degree in a services discipline, extensive experience with Services/Utilities, strong delivery focus, and extensive experience in delivering building projects.
Experience with Defence project and/or managing contractor models would beneficial.
