About the Role

The Manager, Asset Management is responsible for aligning AGL's asset management system to ISO 55000 to minimise the cost of generation and greenhouse intensity of our community's energy. You will achieve this through the development, deployment and continuous improvement of the standards and programs in relation to:

  • Asset Strategy & Planning
  • Maintenance Strategy
  • Energy Efficiency
  • Reliability

It is expected that in this role you will be able to effectively employ modern processes, systems and technology to improve productivity in managing our assets along with driving a focus on continual improvement.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Create and communicate the vision for best practice Asset Management
  • Define and implement meaningful key performance indicators to drive Asset Management excellence
  • Own the Asset Management Policy and the Asset Management System
  • Own the asset management standards, business rules and processes including:
    • Asset Strategy & Planning
    • Maintenance Strategy
    • Energy Efficiency
    • Reliability
    • Management of Change
    • Criticality
  • Define and communicate why we are refreshing the way we approach asset management, bringing key stakeholders along on the journey

About You

To be successful, you'll have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering and/or Business
  • Expert skill level in ISO 55000 Asset Management
  • Expert skill level in deploying change programs in large organisations
  • Significant experience in asset management (preferably in a privately-owned asset intensive company)
  • Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders and implement business significant change programs
