Reporting to the Manager Fixed Plan, this role will be responsible for the scoping, planning and execution of Shutdowns for Yandi Fixed Plant. This role will ensure that shutdowns are delivered safely, on schedule and all maintenance work is executed to standard.
Proactively engaging with a broad range of internal stakeholders and key contracting partners to ensure shutdowns are scoped, resourced and planned for efficiency.
Developing and retaining a high calibre team to ensure Fixed Plant Shut downs are delivered safely, on schedule and to relevant quality standards.
The role will require you to occasionally work a longer roster in order to oversee critical shutdown activity.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, bachelor's degree or Trade Qualification (minimum 10 years trade experience)
- Demonstrated experience in a leading, inspiring and developing a large size team including contractor management experience desirable
- Practical experience in maintenance, project delivery and/or business improvement in a shutdown environment
- Proficient knowledge of fixed plant equipment in the resource industry.
- C’ class driver’s licence is essential
You will be based at our 'Yandi' mine on a fly-in fly-out 5:2/4:3/9:5 roster. Yandi is located approximately 170kms North of Newman West Australia. The outstanding facilities at the FIFO village include; a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, squash, tennis and basketball courts, golf driving range, mini golf, netted cricket pitch, beach volleyball court and recreation room. All rooms at the village have their own ensuite bathroom, television, internet, refrigerator and air-conditioning.
