The Role
We are currently looking for a Group Manager – Social Responsibility and ESG based at our centrally located offices in Sydney. This role will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of a comprehensive environmental, social responsibility and governance strategy, framework and risk management. In your role you will support the improvement of and play a lead role to implement Evolution’s long-term ESG and Social Responsibility strategy to protect and enhance Evolution’s reputation and social license and guide asset-specific plans.

You will be an ambassador internally and externally, building strong partnerships to deliver sustainable outcomes for Evolution and our local communities as well as identifying and managing social responsibility risks, opportunities and evolving issues, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are developed and effectively implemented.

You will also provide functional leadership to Evolution Assets. Support the development and implementation of Asset community plans that ensure regulatory compliance, deliver Group/Asset long-term operations and growth objectives and generate shared value.

Prior experience within social responsibility / community relations / environment and government experience is relevant for this role and a strong knowledge of financial markets with demonstrable passion for responsible investing, community and economic development and/or sustainability is favourable. Relevant certifications or qualifications in communications, social sciences, law or other relevant degree qualification and postgraduate qualification in community relations, law or other related fields highly regarded.
