Functional Consultant- Salesforce

Role Description

The Technical Analyst for Salesforce will ensure CBUS Customer Relationship Management (CRM) provides exceptional customer experience across digital and guided channels, while balancing risk and regulatory requests.

The role will be operating in a business that is experiencing accelerated growth in members, funds under management (FUM) and business size, scale and services delivered, where an emphasis on digital services, customer centricity and organisational excellence solutions is valued.

Primary responsibilities of the position will include:

  • Serve as the Business Analyst for various development projects on the Salesforce platform.
  • Work with Stakeholders, Project Managers and Technical Leads analysing current and future state business process flows and whilst provide providing regular updates on projects
  • Partner with product owners to craft user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria in support of agile delivery of technology solutions primarily on the Salesforce platform.
  • Develop data flow diagrams for integrations to reporting, finance and fulfillment applications that will support the technical design and build processes.
  • Lead user acceptance testing by gathering test scenarios
  • Collaborate with solution integrators and external consultants on technology projects and support acquisition programs and evaluate vendor solutions.
  • Provide demonstrations of and documentation for new features in the system/software.
  • Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enable operational efficiency.
  • Partner with the Data Management and Analytics Teams to ensure technology solutions adhere to data quality requirements and meet stakeholder reporting objectives.
Skills & Experience

  • Bachelors or Master’s in applicable areas of study and/or 8+ years of related experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Technical / Business Analyst roles
  • 3+ years’ experience in delivering solution architecture and design role (experience working as a certified Administrator or Developer is a plus)
  • Strong Knowledge and understanding of multiple products like Sales, Service, Financial, Community and Marketing clouds
  • Strong Access/Excel skills, SQL is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight /deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with the ability the ‘think outside the box’
  • Strong demonstrated experience of working within agile team practices, using tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.
  • Knowledge and understanding building APEX code/classes, triggers, integrations, Visualforce/ Lightning UI components, deploying AppExchange products
  • Knowledge and understanding of Salesforce integrations with internal and external systems using integration frameworks such as REST, SOAP, AJAX, RAML, JSON.
  • Experience in delivering capability within large transformation programs, contact centre and or hands on exposure working with websites/portals, APIs/integrations, Data-Lake platforms or concepts
