The role:

Reporting to the Technical Application Design Manager, you will have the opportunity to join BOQ’s leading core banking platform team. You will play a key role in providing inputs to operational considerations related to Temenos platforms, in particular T24, TJM and/or Temenos Analytics.

Specifically you will:

  • Provide input into high level technical designs

  • Analyse and translate business requirements into documentation, product rules and functionality

  • Draft concise and detailed technical and functional solution documents for development

  • Act as Developer resource to projects as required – such as, upgrades, plus minor and major enhancements to existing systems and processes under the guidance of the technical lead
  • Day to day support of the Temenos platforms. This includes all second level support items as well as defect management and after hours support as needed

  • Ensure all support issues are turned around within appropriate time frames in line with the urgency/priority of issue

  • Adhere to BOQ change control processes, including ensuring that all changes are appropriately tested and implemented properly

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to other team members assisting with support

About you:

Demonstrating a sound working knowledge of a strategic Temenos platform (T24, TJM, TA), coupled with previous experience in an enterprise environment will ensure your success in the role.


Naturally you will demonstrate;

  • Demonstrable java development experience

  • InfoBasic development experience

  • Sound understanding of Continuous Delivery and Integration

  • Exposure to MS SQL Server 2014 or above

  • Exposure to Arrangement Architecture for Retail Banking (preferred)
