About the Role:
Located in Woodside's Perth office, reporting to the GM Production Engineering, the adviser role works closely with the GM Production Engineering to ensure base business delivery and drive improvements to systems, processes and ways of working in Production Engineering.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Perform Contract Representative role for the Shell Operational Services agreements (OSA) for KGP and Pluto
  • Support Asset focal points to Deliver maximum value from the Shell OSA
  • Facilitate the System Engineering forum
  • Identify improvements to System Engineering performance; work with System Engineering and Engineering Managers to Deliver the improvements
  • Liaise with Maintenance Process Owners to Identify and Deliver improvements to maintenance processes in support of Production Engineering personnel
  • Liaise with Operations Process Owners to Identify and Deliver improvements to Operations Processes in support of Production Engineering personnel efficiency
  • Liaise with Engineering Process Owners to Identify and Deliver improvements to Engineering Processes in support of Production Engineering personnel efficiency
  • Perform governance over key performance metrics for System and Surveillance Engineering
  • Support GM Production Engineering to develop Functional and Asset budgets
  • Facilitate consistent ways of delivering engineering support on all Operating assets
  • Support GM Production Engineering to develop Production Engineering Functional Activity Plan (FAP)
  • Lead improvements in Functional Activity Planning; Coach engineers in efficient and effective Functional Activity Planning
  • Drive behaviour across the business to ensure readiness of activities entering the plan, compliance with Plan Entry Criteria and alignment with the "big picture"
Skills & Experience:
  • Technical engineering, project management, or management consultant experience in a related industry
  • Ability to handle complex multi-disciplinary information
  • Ability to facilitate large meetings with a variety of stakeholders and negotiate resolution of conflicts between stakeholders
  • Planning experience, including identification of sequencing, constraints, resourcing, schedule risk etc
  • Strong interpersonal, emotional intelligence, communications and stakeholder management skills in order to influence well
  • Ability to distil complex information into a fit-for-purpose recommendation and ability to communicate this clearly to decision-makers
