About you:

Regardless of your level, you’ll bring a keen sense of curiosity, supported by consulting and technical experience in Fire engineering and related areas and experience in the consulting engineering environment. This includes the ability to work closely in an integrated multi-disciplinary environment, and advise clients on cost-effective, innovative, and sustainable solutions.

You will have a Degree in Engineering, specialising in Fire engineering Structural Engineering, Physics, or related areas. A masters in Fire Engineering would be well regarded, but not required. Depending upon your experience level, you will also be working towards or have obtained Chartership with the Institute of Engineers (Australia) – IE Aust, or chartership with equivalent associations in other countries.

As a part of a highly collaborative team, you’ll have a passion for maintaining high standards, good communication and interpersonal skills including formal and informal presentations, written communications and reports.

About the roles:

You will have the opportunity to provide consulting on fire safety advice to a wide range of high profile and high impact clients across the built environment. Think fire safety, simulation, egress design, risk assessment, and performance-based design, (not wet fire systems / fire protection).

As a part of a multi-disciplinary firm, you will still have the opportunity to learn from a network of highly specialized fire engineers locally and globally, but also to gain a broader understanding of how other design elements can come together to create more complete and integrated solutions.

You will provide detailed technical and user-focused input cross a broad range of projects within the fire engineering business and related areas and may have the opportunity to get involved in some amazing community-related projects globally.

Duties and responsibilities will vary depending upon your level of experience, with more senior/leadership roles either taking on a more in-depth technical, people development, and or business development aspect.

Salary ranges from $95,000 - $119,999 TRP dependant on experience.
