About the Role
Previous Credit experience in either commercial or retail finance
Ability to critically analyse and interpret financial statements and identify industry trends
A clear, concise communication style with the ability to explain and articulate credit decisions
Responsible for the assessment of Credit relating to BOQ Specialist's Commercial and Residential lending
Ensure applicants fit within BOQ Specialist's chosen target markets
Ensure approvals are within agreed credit policy and risk appetite
Review / analyse client borrowing structures and client financials to evaluate lending proposals
Ongoing training of consultants with respect to credit and assisting with the preparation of credit applications
Contributes to creation and development of Commercial and Residential Credit policies
- Adherence to agreed individual and team SLAs and Key Performance Indicators
Our ideal candidate will have a Degree in Finance or Accounting, prior experience in a Credit Risk role, and a knowledge of lending products, entity laws, foreign exchange laws and security classes.
We would be delighted to hear from the seasoned Credit professionals with Big 4 exposure, as well as those more at the beginning of their Credit careers.
Regardless of your tenure in this specific professional space, the personal attributes of collaborative work style, strong team ethos, communicative and open stakeholder relationship building skills and a proactive and professional manner are essential.
