Operational Excellence & Performance Manager


Job Profile Summary

  • Prepares & facilitates the monthly Supply, Infrastructure and Key Accounts team pre-reviews, feeding into the Australian Supply Chain Review.
  • Engages cross functionally to improve and standardize systems and processes with relentless focus on continuous improvement.
  • Establishes, maintains and implements the Midstream commercial capability development plan.
  • Provide Agile methodology expertise for Midstream Agile projects

About the Opportunity

Reflecting an enhanced future-focus on excellence and business performance, this new role leads a team of eight focused on embedding the DNA of operational excellence throughout BP’s Midstream business. As a member of the Midstream Leadership Team this position leads the commercial capability development plan, is the driver of the Supply, Infrastructure and Business Performance reviews, as well as and providing Agile expertise. The role carries an accountability to lead, enable and support the development of a team of three direct reports and five indirect reports. You’ll be a valuable set of eyes hunting for continuous improvement opportunities across all dimensions, measures and situations – prioritising efforts to deliver the highest value for the business.

About You

You are a strong candidate for this role if you can demonstrate experience in driving business process transformation, evaluation or implementation of business processes ad assurance practices. You are at home in the world of operational excellence and continuous improvement . You’ll be familiar at managing complex projects with evolving priorities and unexpected barriers, ideally with expertise in running Agile projects. Listed highly amongst your capabilities are commercial acumen, leadership capability and capability development

Strong analytical skills with an understanding of supply economics will be advantageous but not essential.
