We offer an extensive range of legal services and we work closely with our other KPMG colleagues offering a true multidisciplinary approach. Our core practice areas include: Financial Services & Regulatory, Corporate/M&A, Securities and Funds, TMT, Data Security & IP, Real Estate and Workplace & Employment Law.

Your Opportunity

KPMG Law’s Workplace & Employment Law team is a full service practice advising on all aspects of employment, human resources, equal opportunity/discrimination, industrial relations, and workplace health & safety matters. We are involved in a broad variety of work for clients ranging from ASX-listed companies through to enterprise and government clients. Our work encompasses both advisory and disputes/litigation matters.

As our Workplace & Employment Law practice continues to grow, we are seeking a high performing lawyer ranging from Associate to Senior Associate level.

How are you Extraordinary?

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience will likely include:

  • An Australian law qualification with between 4 to 7 years of post-qualification experience from a reputable employment law practice;
  • A strong foundation of experience working on general employment/HR matters including advising on employment contracts, contractor engagements, redundancies, corporate restructures, and workplace related disputes;
  • Exposure to industrial relations matters including industrial action, modern awards, and enterprise agreements;
  • Experience with work health & safety matters;
  • Being adaptable and personable, keen to work outside the ‘traditional’ law firm model and collaborate with KPMG’s broader advisory teams; and
  • Being intellectually curious, open-minded and analytical, with an eye for detail and pride in your work.
