About the role
Operations Services is excited to announce that we have created new entry level opportunities to develop a maintenance career with BHP.      You will be paid to study whilst working on industry leading equipment. You will have the opportunity to learn about BHP systems and processes, making you work-ready for your first day on site. Initial training will be undertaken fulltime at a training facility in Queensland or Western Australia, which may require candidates to relocate for the opportunity. You can expect a permanent position and a continual focus on personal development.

  • A high commitment to safety, quality and attention to detail and procedures
  • An interest in problem solving, fixing things and working with your hands
  • A strong desire to learn and develop a range of new skills
  • Motivation to achieve personal work goals and objectives
  • A teamwork mentality
  • Experience working on machinery/vehicles through a hobby or previous work is highly regarded, but not essential
