Your Opportunity

In this role, you will be the Country Head of HR for ANZ and additionally also will be driving a key business or function across APAC. The role will report into the Head of HR for APAC and become a key member of the HR Leadership team in APAC.

You will be building strong working relationships with the local Leadership team. Drive people focused tasks and business decisions that may have an impact on people, values, etc. in Management Team discussions in your country/countries. As the Country HR Manager you will be providing the strategic /tactic and operational HR advice, which improves the quality of business decisions and drives business value. You will proactively shape the delivery of HR services in close cooperation with CoE's (other departments of HR) and HRM's in your country. You will drive the HR agenda and quality of HR practice across your country/countries.

In this role you would be responsible for

  • You will shape the HR infrastructure and services based on a deep understanding of the market and business, drives the quality of HR practice across the organization and translates strategic business objectives into an effective people organization and, where required, transformation plans. 

  • The role would be also responsible to develop and implement the People Strategy in support of the business Uses diagnostics skills, business acumen and customer relations to identify, articulate and deliver value proposition at the senior management level. 

  • You will collaborate with, consult with and influence the business area on HR needs to enable the delivery of business targets. Coordinate capability development and workforce planning. Drive the people elements of transformation and change. 

  • Consult with the CoE’s to meet the particular needs of the business area and act as an effective steward of the HR Operating Model. 

  • Lead culture and change management and support the transformation across the company to become in line with PBS. 

  • Able to translate interrelated business challenges into a compelling and focused people agenda. Analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills to devise innovative solutions to complex organizational issues. 

  • Act as the people partner to the Country GM during periods of transformation or change e.g. Organizational Restructure, Divestments/ Merger/Acquisition/Disposal/Major Outsource.

  • Execute Talent/Succession plans in PH, HS and EF’s support in your country the yearly TR with the Talent partner / HRBP of the Market.

We are looking for:

  • 10 years of relevant working experience in dealing with strategic, tactical and operational HR matters within an international context, in different business areas and geographies.

  • Experience in developing and activating people strategic agenda.

  • Practice in making business decisions that align with organizational goals 

  • Experience in planning, coordinating, executing, and evaluating projects/ programs .

  • You would have experience in collaborating with, consulting with and influencing the business area on HR needs. 

  • Experience in different business areas, markets, functions in an international context 

  • Experience in delivery of standardized core HR services through end-to-end framework 

  • A solid foundation in key HR practices and philosophies 

  • Experience of business transformation processes in fast-changing, global and complex organizations
