About the role
Join our Koodaideri Phase 1 SMP project working on the construction of 4 main primary crushers, train unloader, secondary crusher and a screen house which includes overland conveyors.
We are currently seeking a SMP Project Engineer to work in our Fabrication Yard in Thailand until August / September on a 5.5 / 2.5-week roster. This role will then move to the Pilbara on a 19/9 roster.
As the Project Engineer, you will manage packages of works ensuring these are carried out according to intended design and technical specifications. You will also be involved in planning and sequencing of construction activities, tracking costs and project status, and providing engineering support to management and construction delivery teams, whilst always adhering to Laing O’Rourke’s safety policies and procedures.
As the suitable candidate for this role, you will hold a tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering along with experience in a similar role, having worked for Tier 1 construction contracting companies in Australia on mining projects. Candidates with materials handling experience are encouraged to apply.
