ServiceNow is seeking an Advisory Solution Consultant to work within our Solution Consulting organisation based in Melbourne, Australia. This includes:

  • Pre-sales support (discovery, demonstrations, presentations, workshops)
  • Technical product and architecture advice during sales cycles
  • Formulating solution designs that best meet customer requirements
  • Presenting the latest ServiceNow solutions/capabilities
  • Key collaborator into tender responses
  • Working closely with partners in pre-sales activities to setup customers for success

The ideal candidate will have significant experience collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, from more technical staff to engagements with executives. You should be able to successfully demonstrate the ability to translate corporate strategy/objectives with the applied use of ServiceNow technology in the context of the client’s enterprise architecture.

As an Advisory Solution Consultant, you will:

  • Take a lead role in delivering pre-sales activities for the Enterprise accounts within the ANZ territory customers and prospects
  • Develop and retain lasting relationships with customers
  • Be the trusted advisor on the ServiceNow Platform and Applications and how each is licenced
  • Architect solutions taking into account the technology landscape currently within a customer or prospect
  • Support partners in presales activities, such as demonstrations and presentations
  • Present at ServiceNow events and Industry events
  • Be a key contributor to tender responses including designing the best solution for customer
  • Collaborate, actively share knowledge, and promote best practices amongst other ServiceNow Solution Consulting and Sales team members
  • Be given the opportunity to innovate on the ServiceNow Platform by building applications or processes
  • Provide mentoring and training to peers and other colleagues in the organization
  • Travel for Partner, Customer, and team activities

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of Solution Consulting experience
  • Working knowledge of modern web technologies and cloud computing
  • Excellent understanding of the architectural principles for cloud-based platforms that include SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, and automation
  • Superb problem-solving skills and logical thinking ability
  • Talented at explaining complex topics clearly and concisely, and effective at providing practical guidance
  • Has experience working in a large corporate enterprise, engaging at the CxO level
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills in English and facilitation skills
  • Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Computer Science, Engineering etc.
  • A ServiceNow certification (e.g. System Administrator, Implementation Specialist) is an asset
  • Experience in any of the key subject areas, with a demonstrated history delivering consulting services:
  • Service Management Processes across all lines of business eg. IT, HR, Facilities
  • Customer Service Management eg. customer facing solutions
  • Integrated Risk Management (IRM) / Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)
  • Portfolio, Program and Project Management
  • Enterprise Architecture (Strategy, Planning, Standards)
  • Experienced with project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, facilitation of decision making, documentation, managing client expectations and team leadership
