About the role:
Based in Kalgoorlie, this is a 4 month fixed term opportunity for an experienced and motivated Senior Operations Assistant. You will be helping the Team Leaders plan, schedule and dispatch field work, as well as providing complex administration support services. Make a difference in your local community, feel good about the work you do.
What the role will involve:
  • Helping key stakeholders and customers with operational enquiries to ensure the delivery of services.
  • Operate and maintain store, pick and supply store items to staff.
  • Assist Team Leaders in maintaining relevant QA documentation.
  • Complete all purchasing and procurement requirements for the district.
  • Support staff with fleet management administration and provide advice on payroll and related matters.
  • Be in charge of reporting and following up on issues relating to facility / property / building management.
  • Support Operations Manager and Team Leaders in the operation of the Goldfields District
Key skills and experience:
  • Considerable experience in providing business and customer service support.
  • Considerable experience in a broad range of administration functions.
  • Advanced computing skills and the use of programs such as Microsoft and SAP.
  • Sound knowledge of asset operation and customer services in utility environment
