About the role
We are currently seeking a Procurement Lead to join our Perth business. This permanent role offers great career prospects with a privately owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.
As a Procurement Lead, you will drive the implementation of procurement on a project throughout the delivery phase.
You will be responsible for resourcing and organising the procurement function to effectively work with the wider project team to deliver successful procurement outcomes.
You will also be responsible for setting procurement protocols, including the controls and reporting mechanisms to ensure an effective process is implemented.
You will develop and implement sourcing strategies. You will also identify key stakeholders and manage relationships, and work with the HSE team to implement leading safety initiatives, in-line with our Next Gear Safety model.
You will be a strategic thinker, who is able to develop and implement successful procurement strategies to successfully engage with the supply chain at all stages of the project lifecycle.
Ideally you will have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, with excellent planning, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a strong written and verbal communication skills.
You will bring strong commercial acumen, and skills/knowledge of procurement practises and processes, negotiations and contract management, backed by relevant tertiary qualifications.
