Senior MuleSoft Developer

Location:Melbourne

We are continuing to grow here at Cbus and as a result we are seeking several MuleSoft Developers who have demonstrated experience across microservices architecture, Integrations and API’s.

You will be directly accountable for the end to end delivery of prioritised pipeline of API’s/Integration initiatives and enhancements, including programming with good test coverage, unit testing, integration testing, documenting, maintaining and supporting application systems and software in adherence to microservices architecture and best practices.

In addition, you will be responsible for:
  • Facilitating integration workshops to gather requirements
  • Clearly articulate trade-offs between various integration options and make recommendations
  • Effectively collaborate with business consultants and the project team to determine technical and functional requirements
  • Gather and analyse requirements, define and execute integration plan
  • Work with the architecture team to provide a consensus-based enterprise solution which is scalable and adaptable
To be successful you will have completed a bachelor’s degree in Technology or Software Engineering with demonstrated experience in designing, developing, implementing and maintaining integration solutions. You will have strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand business problems and be able to bridge the business requirements and technology solutions.

You will have -
  • Advanced knowledge of developing and maintaining APIs within a microservices architecture as well as demonstrated experience developing and delivering solution on the MuleSoft platform
  • Extensive experience in application development using Mule ESB and API management
  • Demonstrated experience designing Mule components
  • Experience designing integration flows using MuleSoft Anypoint platform
  • Solid understanding of the microservices architecture and RESTful API library
  • Experience across the entire API development lifecycle from the design build, governance and management
  • Demonstrated experience of container technologies such as Docker and their associated orchestration engines such as OpenShift, Kubernates
  • Knowledge of capacity planning, scalability, performance testing, load testing and functional automation testing API services
  • Knowledge of programming standards including JAVA, J2EE
  • Good understanding of underlying Mule ESB architecture with experience of server administration and physical deployment (On Cloud, On Premise and Hybrid).
  • Experience with DevOps standards including CI/CD, automated source scanning, testing and deployment
  • Experience developing for IOS, Android and hybrid apps would be highly regarded; as would your experience in monitoring and security tools like New Relic and Splunk.
The following certifications will be highly regarded –
  • MuleSoft certifications – Developer, Platform Architect
  • Salesforce certifications - Platform Developer, Integration, Architecture Design
  • AWS certifications – Developer, Architecture
Please note this is a 12-month maximum term contract and will be paid as an annual salary.
