About the opportunity
Whilst busy delivering on a wide range of premier built environment projects, we are seeking to drive growth in the electrical building space through the addition of a Lead Electrical Building Services Engineer. The right candidate will be a recognised leader in this market with proven ability to guide teams on complex projects, to foster client relationships, and to support repeat and future work-winning through successful project delivery and exceeding our clients’ expectations.
Based in our Perth office, this role will focus on leading projects in WA – but brings exciting opportunities to connect to and serve our broader Jacobs buildings practice across ANZ and beyond. This role within our dynamic, collaborative and highly-skilled team offers the right candidate unbounded opportunities to grow their career – and to make an enduring impact through a senior role key in delivering the challenging and exciting Social Infrastructure projects that serve and connect our communities.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following\:
- Established position as a leader in the electrical building services market
- Strong relationships with clients / architects in this market with focus on healthcare, transport (stations) and custodial
- Strong external facing skills to develop relationships and secure work
- Proven technical knowledge developed over their career
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent
- Experience in technical project leadership for electrical discipline
- Problem solving and issue resolution
- Chartered Professional Engineer preferable
- Industry memberships and participation (e.g. CIBSE, AIRAH, IEAust) preferable
