Our Brisbane office is currently seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to lead a small payroll team for a parental leave cover. Hatch Payroll for Australia is located in Hatch’s Australian head office in Brisbane. As part of the Finance team, the Senior Payroll Officer will be responsible for the following key activities:

  • Management of end to end fortnightly Australian & Expatriate payrolls
  • Both review and accurate processing of fortnightly payrolls
  • Creation, maintenance and termination of employee master data
  • Maintenance and processing of all allowances, overtime, leave, termination payments
  • Processing of all employee superannuation payment data including administration of Employee Superannuation Choice
  • Extensive liaison/integration with the Human Resources function to ensure timely and accurate process flow

Skills

  • A proven high level of experience in ADP
  • Coaching and development of junior staff
  • High level communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of MS Word
  • Deep understanding of awards and payroll legislation
