About the role

As our next Maintenance Coordinator reporting to the Facility Manager, your primary role will be to manage all warranty and service exchange repair negotiations with OEMs and suppliers within the Western Region and in line with Thiess management expectations. To achieve this you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.


Hazelmere, Western Australia

This position will be primarily Perth-based at our Hazelmere Rebuild Facility on a 5/2 roster

Some of your duties will include;

  • Accurate capturing of information for future reference in JDE
  • Undertaking system hygiene checks including, but not limited to, PDR & CFR completion, review of WO statuses etc
  • Provide onsite support to manage and maintain warranty process in the western region. Maintain close relationship with OEMs to close out existing claims and communicate findings with sites
  • Component and machine repairs and inspection management and understanding re-useability guidelines
  • Work with OEMs on closing out charges
  • COR tracking and management
  • Manage repair of Thiess routable components
  • Support Asset Superintendent with short term planning and component ordering requirements for Fleet-Co asset
  • Provide assistance to the Hazelmere facility with scheduling and management of workshop assets

About you

  • Trade Qualified or equivalent qualifications/experience
  • Extensive experience in a mobile plant maintenance environment
  • Experience in HME component rebuild and failure analysis
  • Experience managing OEM and supplier warranty and component add charge
  • Knowledge of mobile plant maintenance processes and requirements
  • Ability to effectively utilise the required site computer programs and systems in place for the role
  • Ability to communicate clearly and manage resources in daily tasks
  • Ability to plan daily schedule and adapt to changes in schedule on ad-hoc basis
  • Basic understanding of relevant systems and legislation relating to safety and environment
