About the role

We are currently seeking Health Safety and Environmental Advisors to join various projects in Sydney, NSW. This permanent role offers great career prospects with a privately owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Key responsibilities

Lead and promote a positive safety culture (based on the Laing O’Rourke “Next Gear” program). Your role will focus on providing coaching, direction, support and advice to the project team on HSE related matters, and assisting with HSE governance activities to manage HSE risk. You will also be involved in incident investigations; monitoring and conducting regular HSE field based governance activities within the project sites, assist with the preparation and review of construction method statements, SWMS, and facilitating HSE training as required.

About you

A completed tertiary qualification in OHS along with previous experience working as a Safety Advisor for construction contracting companies in Australia.
