Quality Coordinator

TasWater has adopted an Alliance Program Management Partnership model to help implement its commitment to customers and community through coordination and delivery of TasWater’s large, complex major capital works.

The Alliance is a partnership between TasWater, UGL, CPB and WSP. The CDO will help build and enhance TasWater’s capability in a range of operational and strategic areas such as safety, project controls, estimating and program management.

About the role

  • Assist with project quality management system to ensure quality of product, enabling continuous improvement
  • Develop and manage construction methodology documentation schedule
  • Ensure planned inspection and testing are carried out.
  • Ensure design documentation and approvals are received prior to works commencing
  • Support in all aspects of business reporting
  • Ensuring compliance to the Business and Alliance processes and procedures
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, responsiveness, honesty and accountability
About You
You will inspire and draw on the teams diverse skills and create environments where great ideas are heard and everyone looks out for one another. Ideally you will have\:
  • Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management / Project Management
  • Lead Quality Auditor Qualifications
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a high-performing team
  • Ability to promote continuous improvement initiatives
