Principal Transmission Detailer

This opportunity will see you join our multi-disciplined in-house engineering team working to solve complex problems throughout the project lifecycle.

About the role
Bring specialist engineering capabilities to related fields of design in major Transmission Power projects\:

  • To prepare engineering documentation as directed
  • To work with design/project teams to produce drawings and models for tenders and projects
  • 3D and associated 2D detailing of transmission towers and other structural elements
  • To check drawings/3D Models prepared by the other draftspersons
  • Ensure compliance with project BIM execution standards, processes and procedures
  • Maintain BIM Templates to support BIM standards, processes and procedures
About You
You want to be part of something bigger, whatever the challenge you see it as the chance to create value. Ideally you will have\:
  • Relevant engineering tertiary qualifications
  • Experience working in a project coordination role for CAD/BIM applications, particularly Tekla Structures
  • Knowledge of the software applications< Tekla, Autodesk, Bentley V8i, AutoCAD, Document Management Systems
  • Proven commercial acumen
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a supportive high-performing team
