Sales Development Manager - Insurance

Our Retail Finance and Insurance department located is currently seeking to appoint a Sales Development Manager, Insurance on a permanent full-time basis.

Reporting to the Sales Development Manager - Southern, you will:

  • Meet regional and national Insurance targets
  • Meet Dealer Insurance retention and acquisition targets
  • Develop relationships with Regional Managers, Regional Sales Managers and Dealer Account Managers
  • Develop and monitor the training plans (together with Regional Training Manager) for all regional field staff to help develop their understanding of Insurance products and their role in driving results
  • Conduct regular detailed reviews of sales activity and regional results with Regional Sales Managers and Dealer Account Managers and agree on action plans to maximise performance.
  • Work to appropriate call plans and call patterns in relation to insurance performance and development
  • To work with key accounts as agreed with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and maximise the performance of insurance sales
  • To support the TFA performance comparison/focus review program by supporting performance reviews within dealerships
  • To identify opportunities and deliver on acquisition strategies to grow the network support for the insurance program
  • To act as a SME, mentor and coach to Regional Sales staff

To ensure your success in this role, ideally you will have:

  • A comprehensive understanding of the relevant insurance legislation and regulations
  • Demonstrated history of achievement within a Sales environment
  • Highly developed presentation skills
  • Demonstrated facilitation & training experience and capability
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
