Underground Mine Superintendent

Due to the exciting new development taking place at our Cowal Gold Operation we are currently looking for an Underground Mine Superintendent to join our rapidly growing operation.
Reporting to the Mine Operations Manager this role will take a lead on all operational activities relating to the Cowal Underground Mine. The initial scope of this role involves planning for the establishment of a future producing underground mine, with a key focus on ensuring that exceptional standards are developed and maintained, as well as ensuring that strong communication and engagement is maintained with all stakeholders.

Technically you will have….
- Tertiary Mining qualification
- NSW Mining Engineering Manager of Underground Mines other than Coal Mines, or the ability to obtain one
- Contractor management experience
- Excellent cost management skills
You will possess the ability to develop, mentor and train personnel to achieve both succession planning and regulatory compliance requirements. Provide input and assistance in the development of mine plans and designs, annual and Life of Mine budgets.
While ensuring that Mining operational capability and performance is maintained through actively promoting continuous improvement across all disciplines to improve safety, operational efficiencies and achieve cost efficiencies.
