About the Opportunity

In this newly created position, you will assist to the Head of Business Improvement in all activities that ensure the team's success. This is an opportunity to join a growing team and work autonomously as you support all day to day activities in addition to managing minor initiatives to ensure that the business strategy and objectives are achieved.

Specifically, this will include:

  • Coordinate a range of activities in support of the Improvement and Change function
  • Coordinate and prepare team reports, presentations and KPI's, manage action registers and support weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting cycles
  • Provide support to organisational development activities within the Improvement and Change function
  • Coordinate and provide support to initiatives and project ‘gate reviews' or workshops held on behalf of the Improvement and Change function
  • Monitor and report project progress against schedules
  • Regularly liaise with BAE Systems Australia Communications team to ensure effective implementation of improvement and change activities
  • Assist in identifying and resolving Improvement and Change functional issues as they arise
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide Executive Assistant tasks to support the Head of Improvement.

About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:

  • Solid experience in an Executive Assistance and/or coordination role in a similar environment
  • Strong team-orientation with an ability to work autonomously
  • Well-developed prioritizing and organizational abilities
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with an ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong coordination experience with a demonstrated ability manage multiple activities concurrently to achieve and exceed expectations
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
