About the role

Based in Milton office reporting to the General Manager for Holcim Aggregates QLD, this position will be a vital and strategic senior leadership role providing operational support across multiple sites in the QLD and Northern NSW region.

It will drive the delivery of capital upgrades, operational improvement initiatives and development of key positions. In addition it will lead standardisation and best practice in the areas of safety, financial and operational outcomes.

About you

You are passionate about driving operational best practice and have a solid understanding of the construction materials industry.

Working across various levels within the organisation you have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully lead change and develop others around you.

You will also need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an engineering, business or a relevant discipline
  • Strong understanding of the extractive industry within quarrying, civil, mining or similar operations
  • Exposure to environmental approval and extractive industry regulations would be highly regarded
  • Previous management experience in operational improvement and change management
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to manage costs across operations.
  • Excellent leadership experience and demonstrated success in driving targeted safety behaviours to achieve zero harm.
