At the City of Sydney, our Recruitment Team works closely with Hiring Managers across the organisation to raise capability in Recruitment and Selection to achieve the best possible hiring outcomes. The HR Advisor - Recruitment plays an important part in this mission.

The HR Advisor - Recruitment coaches and guides Hiring Managers in best practice recruitment and selection practices, advising on recruitment strategies and selection methods to produce quality hiring outcomes and a positive candidate experience. Working within the policy and procedural framework, the HR Advisor - Recruitment will provide expert advice on position design, sourcing approaches and talent pooling for externally and internally advertised positions and bulk recruitment exercises.

As the successful candidate, you are a proven and successful recruiter with broad industry experience encompassing agency recruitment, internal recruitment and/or RPO. You have a strong customer and candidate focus, outstanding stakeholder skills, attention to detail and have the able to identify opportunities for improvement in system and business process design. Experience with recruitment systems are absolutely essential.
