Agile Lead

We’re looking for an experienced people leader to join Xero’s global Product Delivery Centre of Excellence.

We work across multiple locations and business areas to improve and accelerate the delivery of beautiful products our customers love. Our vision is to see our teams focused on outcomes, driven by value, to quickly and sustainably deliver beautiful products - and we need help getting there.

As an Agile lead, you will:

  • Have people lead responsibilities for local and global Agile Practitioners who support the highest value business initiatives at Xero
  • Help our people be aligned to our mission, vision, strategy and values
  • Support our Practitioners with their growth and development plus the usual line manager duties
  • Help lead our strategic goals to ensure we’re aligned and working together to change the system

You’ll be part of our global leadership team where you’ll support your colleagues and work collaboratively towards creating a world-class Centre of Excellence. You’ll shine a light on cross-organisation opportunities and challenges and build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across the business that enable us to get clear on business priority and need.

To be successful in the role, you will have a deep knowledge of modern product principles and practices, e.g. Agile, DevOps, Design Thinking, Human Centred Design, Lean, Lean Startup and product management frameworks, and you’re an advocate for the mindsets that underpin them.
