Enterprise Business Development Director

AWS is looking for a team member to join our Financial Services New Markets / Greenfield sales team. The focus of the role is to build strategic long term relationships with a select group of Enterprise customers.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years sales acquisition experience including working with large and complex enterprise customers, as well as the sales and business acumen as well as technical background to drive adoption of cloud services.

We're looking for an individual to join our diverse team with the following responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain relationships with net new enterprise customers
  • Collaborate with customers to drive innovation into their organization
  • Help customers remediate legacy infrastructure to build a platform for future growth
  • Inspire customers to reconsider what's possible as technology evolves.
  • Work with partners to drive adoption.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications
  • Proven track record of sales acquisition/business development with large enterprise accounts in the financial services sector.
  • Extensive experience in winning large complex programs of work through to delivery and implementation.
  • Comfortable influencing at Board and "C" level.
  • Outstanding presentation and written communication skills.
  • A bias to think big to drive game changing customer outcomes
  • The ability to communicate complex IT Solutions and how they will address real business problems to a business audience
  • Strong Stakeholder management skills

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Cloud selling experience
• Experience in orchestrating and collaborating with the extended sales team.
