Are you a technology executive that has leveraged the cloud to transform the technology and business capabilities of a large company? Can you help executives and leaders understand how cloud can change the way value is delivered to customers? Can you influence large teams of people, even in the face of fear, uncertainty, or doubt?

At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we're hiring Enterprise Strategists to guide our enterprise efforts and advise the largest companies on how they can transform the way they use technology to deliver business value. AWS Enterprise Strategists use their personal experiences using AWS, combine them with the experiences of other customers, and help large companies understand how they can benefit from the cloud.

Ideal candidates well versed in the challenges large companies face across their people, process, and technology when implementing large-scale cloud migrations and/or digital transformations. This includes leadership, application development, operations, security, business case development, technology budgeting, etc. They use this knowledge to help customers identify and overcome the same challenges, author blog posts (see, create and deliver presentations to executive audiences, develop and facilitate executive community building, help AWS product teams and partners understand how enterprise executives make decisions, and develop/improve mechanisms to help customers gain value from the cloud.

  • A bachelors degree
  • Executed a large migration to AWS
  • 10+ years in a technology-related leadership/executive position
  • 5+ years delivering enterprise-wide technology capabilities across multiple business units within large organizations
  • 3+ years driving change or transformation programs using the cloud
  • A career demonstrating an increase in responsibility and an ability to influence non-technical executives
  • Able to travel 50%+ of the time


  • Experience managing a multi-hundred-million-dollar IT budget
  • Well connected with C-level executives throughout one or more industries
  • Established voice (via blogs, books, presentations, or other thought leadership) in the technology community
  • Ability to empathize with a large company’s existing legacy – people, process, or technology – and help map a way forward.
• Managed a global team and IT infrastructure
