About the role

Laing O’Rourke is supporting Defence’s operations in the Northern Territory, delivering both the Larrakeyah Barracks Redevelopment and Facilities Support to Naval Operations in the North projects as managing contractor. Larrakeyah Barracks is a strategically important base servicing the Royal Australian Navy, Army and Joint Task Force units in the Darwin Area.

We are currently seeking a Project Engineer (Civil) for the Larrakeyah Barracks Redevelopment projec. Right now is a great time to join us on this exciting new Defence project which is located in central Darwin and offers longevity.

Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for coordination of on-site construction engineering activities to achieve project cost, time, quality and sustainability objectives safely.

About you

Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering with 3-5 years’ experience in the Engineering / Construction field. Previous defence experience would be highly regarded.
