As a Business Analyst, you will significantly contribute towards requirements elicitation and requirements management for a multi-year, multi-location project following agile execution methodology. Oversee all aspects of requirements management throughout project lifecycles to ensure completion within the defined scope, quality, time, and cost constraints. You will responsible for interacting with client stakeholders, different technical teams, third party vendors to understand and document requirements. As a part of the project you will lead a group of BA and will be accountable for their deliverables. You will demonstrate superior collaboration skills and techniques which appropriately define alternate solutions, resolve conflicts and create lasting, productive partnerships with all stakeholders involved. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. Bachelor’s in Computer Science will be an added advantage
Skills & Experience:
  • 6+ years of IT services industry experience. Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst/ Lead Business Analyst.
  • Experience in working with mainframe and/or pega projects will be an added advantage
  • Excellent English communications skills - strong verbal and written communication skills in order to develop and communicate project deliverables in a non-technical manner to end users. Strong presentation skills.
  • Analyze and model the business domain to create a complete picture of work-flows and technical requirements fulfilled by existing and proposed software.
  • Define the business problem and primary objectives of new projects & Identify and validate the key business requirements.
  • Capable of utilizing formal business analysis methods and tools to govern and control projects.
  • Experience having prepared business requirements documents, functional specifications, test plans, test cases etc.
  • Will be required to perform requirements planning, elicitation, functional testing, solution validations, stakeholder discussion, requirements workshops and project documentation.
  • Solid understanding of the following requirements models: Stakeholder Categories, Non-functional requirements, Gap Analysis, Glossary, Context Diagram, Data Model, Data Dictionary, Business Rules, Decision Tables, Mind Maps, Process Maps, requirements traceability and Use Cases.
  • Working closely with product owner to understand requirements, help maintain product & sprint backlogs, writing user stories, JIRA updates, evaluate BA activity scope & complexity, participate in status meetings, tracks and maintains detailed BA activity and risks lists.
  • Manage a team of BA at client location and offshore, ensure BA work allocation and ensure deliverables are completed on time. Coordinates needs with various stake holders and delivery team.
  • Good relationship building skills both within team, between teams, and across geographies. Working with multi-location teams across time zones.
  • Initiative and ability to multi-task under tight deadlines & Flexibility to quickly adapt to changing environments
  • Results oriented with a high sense of urgency to meet client requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and time management skills
  • The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
